Appointed Chief Operating Officer in April of 2019 , Colin espouses the ‘servant leader’ approach to the needs of the company, characterized by the desire and willingness to help, to coach others to grow and make their professional lives easier and more successful, thereby enabling them to reach their fullest potential.

Colin joined Stuart Dean as the Operations Manager of its Northern Virginia office in 2016. His strong working knowledge of best operational practices, employee training programs, and labor forecasting allowed him to increase productivity and balance the costs of operations.

As a Certified Training Manager and then District Manager for the Waffle House Restaurant chain in Southern Virginia, Colin was integral in developing training programs that resulted in improved sales and operating margins – exceeding performance goals by over 150%.

He served as Operations Manager for the Cintas Corporation in their Virginia office and was responsible for a field-based team that maintained a portfolio of 1100 customers. Partnering closely with sales leadership, he ensured that the team not only maintained their customer base but grew the market. He acted as hiring manager for the department and was responsible for 100% staffing during his tenure, focusing on bench strength to ensure that they retained current team members and hired and trained top-notch candidates. As a member of the Cintas Corporate Faculty he instructed leadership training and best practice sessions across the country.

Colin lives in Northern Virginia with his wife and two children and holds a BA in Business Management from Lynchburg College in Lynchburg, Virginia
