Senior Vice President, Sales – Location Flexible

We are currently seeking a SVP, Sales to drive sales nationally for Stuart Dean. Reporting to the President & CEO, the SVP Sales will lead and direct all aspects of Stuart Dean’s national sales function, professionals, processes and technologies. In addition to providing sales leadership for Stuart Dean, the SVP Sales will also develop and execute a clearly defined marketing strategy that supports consistent business growth, enhances Stuart Dean’s brand awareness and creates demand for Stuart Dean services. They will be expected to negotiate strategic level contracts to form alliances and partnerships with a strong emphasis on securing market leadership, aggressively expanding core service sales and channels, overall business development and penetrating new markets nationally.

  • Analyzes industry trends and competitors to identify better methods for increasing market share, driving revenue growth and measuring appropriate sales metrics and yield targets
  • Engages, inspires and galvanizes the organization around the Marketing and Sales vision, plans, strategies and initiatives. Partnering with the regional operational and sales executives, develops marketing, pricing and sales strategic business plans to deliver unprecedented results
  • Responsible for developing and negotiating strategic level contracts to form alliances and partnerships that secure and expand Stuart Dean’s market leadership and ensure its financial success.
  • Directly manages the Sales team to develop and expand high-end clients in key vertical markets
  • Develop and execute an effective marketing plan and go-to-market strategy for new and existing services
  • Leverages social media and web branding to identify business opportunities and support the delivery and execution of the Marketing plan(s) to create demand for Stuart Dean services
  • Maintains key customer relationships; develops and implements strategies for expanding the Company’s customer base while ensuring accuracy of sales forecasting
  • Expected to lead, coordinate and leverage sales training and programs that enable achievement of Stuart Dean’s sales objectives including development of infrastructure and processes to support the success of the sales teams across all locations
  • Ability to contribute to top and bottom line revenue growth through personal sales achievements as well as supporting Sales personnel to meet sales objectives
  • Responsible for budget development and control for the Sales and Marketing function


  • Minimum 10+ years of proven experience in executive level sales and marketing leadership role leading, developing and empowering sales professionals
  • Minimum 15+ years prior experience in a senior sales role is required. Business-to-business sales experience is preferred, especially service and technical sales. Industry experience in commercial real estate, construction trades, architecture, janitorial and building/facility management is desirable
  • Exposure to multiple markets and proven ability to negotiate strategic level contracts to form alliances and partnerships
  • Must have mastery of the design, implementation and leveraging of enterprise-wide customer relationship management systems
  • Must have experience coordinating sales plans with marketing strategies that aggressively expand new products and services while leveraging existing relationships, products, services and channels
  • Must be a driven self-starter, results-oriented, and skilled in effective time management with ability to creatively devise methods and approaches that expand the reach of Stuart Dean services
  • Requires a Bachelor’s degree preferably in Marketing, Business, Sales, Management, Architecture, or related fields of study
  • Ability to travel at least 75% of time
